5 Loaves Pantry is an emergency food pantry.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a food source for those experiencing food insecurity, serving our friends and neighbors in a caring and compassionate manner from the McClave/Hasty and surrounding communities.
Why 5 Loaves Pantry?
The need of hunger in our community was first brought to light at the McClave Seekers HS youth group in late 2013. The adult leaders heard a conversation between a couple of kids. These kids were wanting to make sure they went home full because food was scarce in their households. This issue was brought up to the congregation of the McClave United Methodist Church. Hearts were touched and a committee was formed as a modest beginning to what is now the McClave 5 Loaves Pantry.
